Invisalign is a modern method of correcting malocclusion using transparent overlays. Overlays are designed individually for the bite of a concrete patient based on precise impressions.
This type of appliance should be worn every day at all times, but unlike traditional fixed braces, it can be removed at any moment, e.g. during a meal or brushing your teeth. Additionally, thanks to the fact that the overlays are completely colorless and adjusted to the bite, they are practically not visible. However, it should be remembered that the overlays should be replaced roughly every 1-2 weeks, which requires follow-up visits to the orthodontist to monitor treatment progress and issue new overlays. In addition, for the treatment to give the desired effects, the patient must rigorously monitor the duration of wearing this type of appliance.
