Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive method of local fat tissue elimination by cooling. Fat cells are more sensitive to temperature than other types of cells, e.g. skin, nerves or muscles -subjected to low temperature they die off. The fat they contain is eliminated by thelymphatic system and like the other fats -metabolized.
The cryolipolysis device works by sucking the skin fold together with adipose tissue. It is cooled and kept in such a state for several dozen minutes. During one treatment, up to 30% of fat from the sucked area can be reduced. The final effects of the treatment are visible after 3-4 months, as the cells die gradually. This treatment works best with local fat reduction, mainly on the abdomen, back (sides) and thighs (breeches).
The effects of the cryolipolysis procedure
- reduction of locally accumulated fat
- reduction of body circumferences/measurements
- modeling of the figure
- slender figure
Indications
- locally accumulated adipose tissue (on the stomach, sides, thighs, arms, abovethe knees)
- shaping the figure
- slimming the figure
Contraindications
- pregnancy / lactation
- cancer
- advanced heart failure
- renal failure, dialysis
- viral, bacterial and fungal infections of the skin
- active skin lesions (e.g. psoriasis, lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis)
- broken epidermis of the treatment area
- Raynaud’s disease
- decompensated diabetes
- liver disease
- blood coagulation disorders
- allergies at the place of treatment
The number and frequency of treatments
Depend on the severity of the problem to be corrected and the expected effect by the patient. A minimum of 3 treatments are recommended. The first effects of the treatment are visible after about 6 weeks. The final result -after 3 months.
Advantages of the procedure
- very good treatment effects among non-invasive fat reduction methods
- non-invasive procedure
- no recovery period
- very safe method
Pre-treatment recommendations
- do not undergo other local fat reduction methods in the same area for 4 weeks
Post-treatment recommendations
- a negative energy balance diet should be implemented
- you should drink a minimum of 2 liters of water a day
- increased physical activity
Expected postoperative symptoms
- skin redness
- tissue hyperemia / hematoma
- swelling
- slight soreness
- reduced sensation up to 4 weeks
Undesirable postoperative symptoms
- loss of sensation over 4 weeks
Recommended complementary treatments
- injection lipolysis
- cavitation lipolysis
- 1060nm warm lipolytic laser
- Robolex
Duration of the procedure
- 1 touchdown -50 minutes; belly (2-4 touchdowns), sides (2 touchdowns), breeches (2 touchdowns)
