A dermatoscopeis a type of a microscope which, applied to the skin, allows you to see changes under a tenfold magnification. It is used to diagnose skin lesions. In particular, pigmented lesions are subjected to dermatoscopic examination to determine their nature (detection of melanoma).
Dermatoscopy is a preliminary examination. However, in case ofdoubts it requires further, in-depth diagnostics.
